I've gone back and forth with my feelings about what the internet really is. I've been a glutton to the fullest at times, consuming any and all information I can just for the fact that it's right here at my finger tips. So many search engines and blogs make it almost impossible to log off once you start reasearching. What's crazy too, I've noticed, is that I can sit in front of my computer and not notice three hours pass by until I start to feel this familiar knot in my right shouder tensing up from my bad posture and slouch. Over-all, it's great to have the world wide web here to provide oodles of information to you without having to even leave your couch. It's fabulous. A little lazy at times and not always true, but who wouldn't love the convenience of endless studies with minial effort.
I use the internet for
- Researching specific homework topics
- Facbook (yes... Im one of those people)
- G-Mail because online coupons are amazing! and Im cheap
- Book Reviews - I read alot and the internet always has info about upcoming books and New York Times best sellers
- Check my bank account
- IMDB! awesome and everything you want to know about actors/actresses and films they've done
- Recipes
- Distance Learning from TCC. School has never been so easy or convenient. love it.
- Shopping. The only place you can shop naked is online. Utilize this luxury and find some great bargains!
- My Bedford Library account. I spend as much time there as I do at home.
